Celebrating with Friends

Today we joined friends in celebrating their son's birthday...a great moment for any parent. I found myself smiling and laughing with each and every person I met there, grateful to live in such a warm and inviting community. Children were running and jumping around, bellies full of cake and fruit punch....adults were laughing and chatting with one another, so thankful for a moment of adult conversation. It was a fantastic day.

Now what does this day have to do with my business or my passion for beads? A lot! I was simply touched as I walked from room to room, visiting with friends...noticing one by one that they were ALL wearing my creations! What an amazing feeling! As one person I had just met would ask, "And what do you do?"...I could simply point at any one of my wonderful friends and say "I make jewelry". It was such a warm feeling to be surrounded by such a supportive group of women. A wonderful moment to see that they all adorned themselves with my creations for this special celebration today. One where everyone wanted to feel and look their best...to know that their best included my jeweled designs was plain and simple...awesome.
Thanks to my community of friends, for making me feel that what I do is special.
