This is the story of my journey...


  I have always had a creative side to me, something my mom always told me I was born with. When I was a child I could be found burying my arms deep into the soil, picking berries and acorns off my mother's plants and baking mud pies that Martha Stewart herself would be proud of. When I became a teenager I could often be caught spending an entire weekend laying on our deck reading book after book...many read so many times before that the covers had fallen off. As a yound adult I spent morning, noon, and night writing poetry and creating short stories...I often had so many in my head that my fingers could not write the words down fast enough! But it wasn't until I became a true adult, out in the world on my own, that I found my true calling ~ Jewelry!
  To me there is nothing more lovely that seeing my coffee table strewn with strands of raw gemstone beads... carved pendants stacked in rows, ready for the choosing. I have spent countless days and nights working my fingers to the bone, just to push all the creative designs out of my brain and onto the bead-board! Bliss!
  Now mother to an amazing (and very busy) 3 year old...wife to my husband and longtime love...life is not as easy. :) Beads have to be put away before each morning to make way for pancake breakfasts and are only dragged out after 9pm when the little man of the house is fast asleep in his pj's. But you know what?  LIFE is grand! I am blessed with the love of two great men...one my partner in all things...and the other my little "mini-me" following my every step. I wouldn't change a thing and am enjoying to process of learning how to balance all these Good Things along the way.
